Relationship Wellness Tech Startup Our Love Company Welcomes Dr. Richard Safeer to Its Board of Directors
Fairfax, VA, February 18, 2022 –Our Love Company, developer of relationship wellness platform Our.Love, enthusiastically welcomes Dr. Richard Safeer to its board of directors. Dr. Safeer is a co-founder of the company.
Dr. Safeer is the Chief Medical Director of Employee Health and Wellbeing at Johns Hopkins Medicine, where he leads the Healthy at Hopkins employee health and wellbeing initiative. He also advises Johns Hopkins Medicine in matters related to health plan benefits and occupational health. His breadth of experience in employee health and wellness and his background as a family medicine practitioner are assets to the Our Love board.
“It’s well-known in the medical field that social connectedness is a key part of wellbeing,” asserts Dr. Safeer. “With divorce rates as high as 50 percent and many other relationships suffering, there is a huge opportunity for Our Love to positively impact the health and wellbeing of a huge number of people. While there is plenty of recognition in the wellbeing community, there hasn’t been enough action. That is, until Our Love came along.”
Dr. Safeer is joined on the board by three other exceptional and accomplished professionals, including retired Lieutenant General Leslie Smith, the 66th and most recent Inspector General of the U.S. Army. marketing and commerce expert Lisa Tanzer, and strategic consulting firm co-founder and well-known negotiation expert, Stuart Kliman.
